Strategic Intercession is not just praying for anything you hear. It is strategic in the sense that God helps us to pray through an informed source . So it is really learning the art of gathering information. It helps you also to identify the different types of gifts that you carry and the believers that are around you so that we can have a greater manifestation of the Holy Spirit in our midst. Its strategic intercession also sets the platform for the Spirit of prayer to come upon the praying church that they  are able to take the community, the district, the parish, the county, the nation and other nations.

There is also the warfare aspect of it, in terms of the strategic intercession and warfare that is very important.The warfare side compliments the praying as there are times when the spirit of God will lead us to assault the spirit realm concerning things that are not of the Spirit of God . In terms of the warfare aspect we see the angels of the Lord according to Hebrews 1: 14 playing their role in working alongside us in as heirs of salvation.
